Striking the right balance between what vehicles to use to accumulate savings for college, the effect of such savings on any available scholarships and the right school to choose, has never been an easy task, especially for recently arrived immigrants in USA.

However, most analysts and financial advisors everywhere agree on one thing-access to the right information in this complicated field makes the entire difference.

"If you get the right information, and act on it, chances for your children to attain the best ivy league education in the USA go up significantly, if you stay in the darkness, and rely on your own limited understanding, you could find yourself struggling through paying through college, and limit opportunities in life for your children," said Douglas Eze, a highly successful financial advisor, entrepreneur and wealth creation coach while speaking to AjabuAfrica.com.

Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Eze is bound to impart his wealth of knowledge and experience to parents from various minority communities in the Boston region when he attends a free entry college planning seminar at the Christ Jubilee International Ministries on Saturday, May 2nd, starting at 11.30am.

"During my 15 years so far in the financial services industry, I have noted that among most of the minority groups throughout USA, nobody is teaching the money rules or the rules to the money game. When you are planning for college, you need to understand what you are trying to do, what college you are trying to go to. You need to find out if that college will provide financial help for your child, and how much it will cost. You need to understand what vehicle you are using to save your money for college, and whether that vehicle will affect your child’s potential financial aid," added Eze, founder and CEO of Largo Financial Services and a father of two.

According to Eze, the realization made him commit to take a leading role during the college planning seminar organized to take place in Lowell next month that will bring together many members of the African, Latino, Brazilian and other communities represented in the Mill city.

Licensed as a financial advisor in over 30 States, Eze revealed that his company works with major US financial services companies to offer clients the right products that fit their financial needs.

"We will teach you concepts that American families have been using for years. We will also give $500 scholarship rewards points  to each child whose parents will attend this very important seminar and $1000 points will be added on their birthday until they enter college.Thats how serious we take it," emphasized the married father of two.

Originally from Nigeria, Eze added that he was happy to work with many African churches and pastors in New England to help them and their members gain access to the crucial and liberating financial information.

In addition to college funding, the seminar will also provide crucial information on life insurance and burial planning, an area that has been a snag in the African immigrant community in USA, with most qualified individuals going through life with no life insurance, even though they have no problem purchasing coverage for other needs especially car insurance, health insurance as well as electronics insurance.

With over $6 million in premium sales a year by his company, Eze believes he can also teach a few willing individuals how to get involved in replicating his business and in the process help other people with their financial needs while making a ton of money for themselves.

He revealed that he bumped upon the business at 23 years old while working at an I-Hop restaurant as a student.

"I used to see people come to the restaurant in big cars while talking of 6 figure incomes they were making. So, when one lady gave me a business card to call if I wanted to make some extra money, I did not hesitate. I knew that I did not come to America to wipe tables, and before I knew it, I was into the financial services industry making a lot of money and educating folks along the process," he said.

He urged parents and interested individuals to come out in large numbers on May 2nd for the event so they can gather tips that will help them get better financially.

Staying true to his desire to educate as many people as possible on the financial services arena, Eze has authored a book titled "Creating Generational Wealth" and has recorded multiple videos available on you tube.

The seminar has been organized by Joshua Mwanza, a financial services representative with American Classic Agency in the Boston region, in conjunction with Christ Jubilee International Ministries.

"We are very blessed to have a man like Ezes caliber coming to share with us real secrets to wealth creation right here in our own backyard. This is an opportunity of a life time to all. I hope people will avail themselves to gain great secrets to the money game while earning free scholarship credits for their children," Mwanza told Ajabu Africa.
