PEABODY, Mass.,__
A 26 year old Kenyan man in Peabody near Boston died early yesterday morning while undergoing treatment at the Mass General Hospital following a tragic accident when he fell off from his fourth floor apartment.

According to close family sources, Robert Kimani Kagacha, popularly known as Kim fell from the building where he lived with his girlfriend Friday night. 

EMT personnel summoned immediately rushed him to the Mass. General Hospital due to the serious nature of the injuries sustained.

Family sources added that the girlfriend was also rushed to the hospital and treated for shock but was discharged Saturday evening.

"We don't yet know what caused the tragic fall. Authorities are investigating. It's a very unfortunate and heartbreaking development," said Gikuyu Kibai, chairman of the hastily arranged funeral committee during a telephone interview with Ajabu Africa News.

Kagacha was the son of Mr. John Kagacha and Mrs. Sarah Kagacha, longtime members of the Kenyan community in Boston.

Family and friends are meeting at the parent's house located at 1 Arielle Lane in Peabody, Massachusetts for prayers and funeral planning daily from 6pm.

A memorial service ha been palnned to take place at the Christ The Redeemer Church located at 188 Elliot st in Danvers next Sunday February 11th at at 3 pm.

A Wake service wil be held on Monday February 12 at the Conway Cahill Brodeur Funeral home located at 82 Lynn St, Peabody from 4 to 8pm.

A final funeral service will be held at the same Christ the Redeemer church on Tuesday February 13 at 11am after which the body of the late Kagacha will laid to rest 2pm same day at the St. Mary's Cemetery, 226 North St, Salem, MA 01970.

"Please keep this family in prayers during this very difficult moment. They need a lot of support," urged Kibai while that more information will be provided when it becomes available.
