Joseph Njeru, a 22 year old Kenyan boy from Mbeere in Embu county has become the first Kenyan to ever join up the world famous National Basketball League (NBA), media reports indicate.

Njeru, a 6'6 tall man who plays KPA in Kenya's basketball league will soon be headed for trials with the Philadelphia Seventy Sixers, Kenyan media outlets reported Tuesday. According to the Nairobi Wire, Njeru is an Alumni of the Upper Hill High School. Watch video below.
