An accountant who was rescued from a house where he had been detained by his wife for two years now wants the High Court to cancel a title deed issued in favour of two businessmen.
Mr Francis Kiongo Muturi wants the title deed issued to Mr Hitesh Morjaria and Mr Vijay Morjaria canceled because they allegedly breached the sale agreement.
Mr Muturi, 50, owned the Sh45 million land in Embakasi jointly with Mr Kennedy Ng'ang'a Maranga. The two entered into a sale agreement with the two businessmen on the land in October 5, 2012.
He alleges in court papers that the two businessmen transferred the land, measuring one and half acres, into their names before they paid for it.
He argues that according to the sale agreement, the property was to be transferred to the businessmen after the full payment of Sh45 million.
Mr Muturi was rescued from house detention by police, a local reverend and a lobby group for men's rights.
